How long do you take for hair and/or makeup?

Brides: up to 3.5-4 hours for hair and makeup. Up to 2 hours for hair or makeup services.

Special occasion: up to 2-2.5 hours for hair and makeup. Up to 1.5 hours for hair or makeup services.

Do you provide mobile services?

Accepted Answer

Mobile services are only available for group bookings of 4+ services. For example, 2 hair and 2 makeup. All other bookings are located at Kim's studio in Panania.

Question 3

Do you use eyelid tape?

Accepted Answer

Yes, eyelid tape is used when requested. We specialise in creating balanced symmetry, and eyelid tape can help achieve that by lifting and defining the eyes. It also provides more eyelid space for eyehadow, eyeliner and lashes - enhancing the overall eye makeup look while feeling natural and comfortable.

Do you provide touch up kits?

Most definitely! Special occasion bookings will receive a lip touch up kit which includes a small amount of the lipstick and applicator. Brides will receive a touch up kit that consists of eyelash glue, powder puff, small amount of powder, blotting paper, small amount of lipstick and applicator.

Do I need a touch up service?

We always ensure your hair and makeup last all day. However, if you wedding day runs 10+ hours, a touch up service is recommended to keep everything looking fresh - especially in hot humid weather. It's also a great option if you plan on having your hair down, as your hair is more prone to movement and frizz throughout the day. A touch up can give you that perfect polish before your reception or photos.

Is a bridal trial mandatory?

Yes, it's mandatory. It gives you the chance to preview your hair and/or makeup, make any tweaks, and ensure everything is perfect for your big day - so there are no surprises, just confidence and calm!

Question 7

When should I book the bridal trial?

Accepted Answer

It is recommended to book in your bridal trial 3 months before the wedding day. The timing allows us to finalise your look while taking into account your dress, accessories, and any seasonal elements without being too far from the big day. It also gives us enough time to make any adjustments if needed, so you feel completely confident and excited about your final bridal look!

Bridal trials can be booked before you book us in for the big day however, please note, your wedding date will not be locked in until a deposit is made.

Question 8

Can I make any changes to my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can add additional services to your booking however, services cannot be removed.

Please also note that deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
